Camera Basics

Thank you for your interest in the Camera Basics Class! This class is for beginners desiring to learn how to use their dSLR cameras. You will learn what all those buttons do and how they can work for you. This class is for moms, dads, students, hobbyists, enthusiasts... anyone interested in learning more about their camera. We will have a class time to discuss the settings, their functions and how to properly use them to your benefit. We will also have a hands-on learning time to put into practice what you have learned!

This class is not for those who are already comfortable with their camera settings or those who are not interested in learning how to use more than the AUTO setting. This class will not prepare you to open a photography business, but it will help you learn how to make the most of your dSLR camera.

What to bring: Your camera with lens(es), external flash (if you have one), your camera manual, charged batteries for your camera and empty memory card.

Space is limited! A smaller class will ensure you will be able to ask specific questions and get more personal teaching.

The fee for the class is $50. Proceeds from this class will be donated to King's Table Food Pantry.

{King's Table has a heart for the elderly and disabled, those who cannot physically get to a food bank and carry the food home again.
Volunteers deliver food each month to over 150 families with physical and mental needs. Names and addresses are provided by the Help Office of
Owensboro. Thank you for helping King's Table provide for your community!}

The class will meet at Southside Fellowship Church (Home of the King's Table Food Pantry!) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 30th.
Anyone under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent.
